Project Management

As a Project Manager you will lead the delivery of software engineering projects and programs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure understanding of priorities, project visibility, execution, and achievement of targeted outcomes.

You will be responsible for managing program statuses, financial planning, risk tracking, team member communication, and process compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Strategy and Planning
  • Define and manage the scope, goals, and roadmap of software programs.
  • Lead project-level planning and prioritization in collaboration with engineering and product leadership.
  • Collaborative Execution
  • Coordinate efforts across multiple software development teams and technical team members.
  • Facilitate milestone planning and progress tracking.
  • Ensure cross-team understanding, visibility, and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Delivery Management
  • Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Promote delivery excellence through adherence to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and internal processes.
  • Resolve delivery blockers, manage interdependencies, and escalate as necessary.
  • Team Member Communication
  • Provide detailed updates on status, risks, and project decisions to all levels, including executives.
  • Align all team members around important outcomes and delivery expectations.
  • Risk and Issue Management
  • Manage project issues.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field required.
  • 5+ years of experience in project or program management in software engineering or a related technical field.
  • Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP, SAFe, or equivalent.
