Lead Data Scientist

Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Lead Data Scientist to spearhead our data-driven decision-making initiatives. As a key member of our digital transformation team, you will be responsible for developing and deploying machine learning models that drive business growth and customer engagement.

This role combines analytical rigor with innovative model building and maintenance, ensuring both operational excellence and strategic customer growth.

  • Design, build, and deploy machine learning models for segmentation, predictive analytics, prospect identification, targeting, personalization, Churn prediction & retention, campaign performance and other business use cases.
  • Contribute to building models for various use cases such as Revenue Management System, Customer 360, etc.
  • Apply statistical analysis and data visualization techniques to generate insights and communicate effectively to business stakeholders.
  • Translate model insights into actionable marketing strategies that enhance ROI and customer experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Martech, digital, and commercial teams to operationalize models into platforms and workflows.
  • Establish monitoring, retraining, and governance processes to ensure sustained model accuracy and business value.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Master's degree in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in data science, model validation, and applied machine learning.
  • Proven expertise in Python, SQL, and ML frameworks (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Experience with QA and drift monitoring frameworks for ML models.
  • Familiarity with big data platforms and cloud ecosystems such as Databricks, Spark, Snowflake/AWS/Azure/GCP.
  • Strong communication skills to convey complex insights to both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Experience leading junior data scientists.
  • Detail-oriented with a structured approach to QA, documentation, reporting, and dashboarding.
