Senior DevOps Engineer

Join us to shape the future of our DevOps strategy. We are seeking a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to work on our Core Engineering team with a focus on CICD enablement.

This role will act as a hybrid between software engineers, application management, and system engineers to optimize our software delivery using best of breed tools such as GitHub, GitHub Actions, Antifactory, SonarQube, New Relic, Kubernetes, Argo CD, and Amazon Web Services.

Responsibilities include:

  • Engage with the engineering community to drive adoption, standardization, and maturity of modern software development practices.
  • Supporting and communicating with engineers of all abilities to resolve technical issues with their CICD pipelines.
  • Work on high-quality, reusable solutions to support engineering and CICD pipelines via reusable modules, libraries, templates, and standard practices.
  • Automate administrative and repetitive tasks in development tooling such as GitHub and Antifactory to improve the user experience.
  • Identify gaps in processes and create high-quality automated solutions for them.

Requirements include:

  • Advanced knowledge of DevOps best practices and processes.
  • Curiosity and a willingness to learn.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Extensive experience of Version control with Git.
  • Using the GitHub platform.
  • One or more of the following CICD platforms: GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD.
  • Building and deployment of Software applications: Java, Docker, etc.
  • Scripting and automating with Python, JavaScript, etc.
  • Experience of one or more of the following Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, etc.
  • Binary Artifact Management: Antifactory, GitHub packages, etc.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Cloud formation, etc.
  • Container Orchestration: Kubernetes.
  • JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
  • 5 years of Systems Engineering experience.
  • BS Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience required.
