About the Role:

As a senior test engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the high quality and reliability of our software products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with development teams to understand product requirements and test scenarios, writing and executing test cases to validate software functionality and performance, and utilizing testing frameworks like PyTest or Robot Framework for automation execution.

In addition, you will analyze test results, identify bugs, and work closely with developers for resolutions, and contribute to test planning, estimation, and reporting efforts.

Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and best practices is essential for success in this role.

Job Requirements:

  • Design, Develop, Maintain Automated Test Scripts: Utilize Python programming skills to create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts to ensure software quality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with development teams to understand product requirements, test scenarios, and other project-related matters.
  • Utilize Testing Frameworks: Leverage testing frameworks such as PyTest or Robot Framework to automate testing processes and improve efficiency.
  • Analyze Test Results: Identify bugs, report defects, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
  • Contribute to Test Planning, Estimation, and Reporting: Participate in test planning, estimation, and reporting activities to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
