Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop strong Ruby proficiency with deep understanding of language fundamentals, idioms, metaprogramming, OOP, mixins, blocks, procs, and lambdas.
  • Familiarity with memory management, GC tuning, performance profiling, Thread vs. process models, Connection handling, worker tuning, memory profiling.
  • Expertise with frameworks like Ruby on Rails, Grape, ActiveRecord, ActiveJob, ActionCable, ActiveModel validations, Engines, initializers, routing, lifecycle callbacks.
  • Deploy and optimize Passenger, Thin, PostgreSQL, advanced usage of ActiveRecord, N+1 queries, indexes, query plans.
  • Proficient with Bundler, Rake, Rubygems, GEMS with knowledge of RVM, rbenv, chruby.
