Job Description

As a senior software engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing and delivering cutting-edge solutions for our client's product. You will collaborate closely with the technical architect, product design team, quality assurance, and other software engineers to develop innovative features for our client's strategic program management solution.

  • Create detailed designs, implement new features within agreed timeframes and perform unit testing according to defined requirements.
  • Ensure code adheres to performance requirements of a SaaS product.
  • Build front-end software using React/Javascript and implement corresponding backend model software using Ruby on Rails.
  • Maintain existing applications, resolve customer issues and write unit tests to ensure high-quality Ruby on Rails code.
  • Collaborate with product design teams, QA and stakeholders to understand user needs and provide best customer solutions.
  • Estimate tasks, self-plan and self-manage as a developer in an agile team.
  • Document processes and software changes when necessary and protect confidential data.


Required Skills and Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering or related field.
  • 3-9 years professional software development experience.
  • Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, SQL and database usage.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD technologies, SaaS application architecture and software engineering best practices.
