Job Title: Senior RPA Program Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior RPA Program Manager to lead our medium-sized team in developing, maintaining, integrating, and implementing intelligent automation software solutions within the organization. The successful candidate will provide broad oversight and guidance, leading individuals who design, develop, test, conduct quality assurance, configure, install, and support the implementation of new solutions and updates to installed applications.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Provide leadership direction to develop information technology strategies, policies, and plans.
  • Monitor and assign staff to translate business requirements into application requirements.
  • Recommend solutions or improvements to business processes, using new technology or alternative uses of existing technology.
  • Direct identifying and analyzing business needs, gathering requirements, and defining scope and objectives to make business decisions.
  • Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals and supervisors.

Impact/Dimensions:

  • Develop and foster new and existing relationships with management, consultants, and users to understand business priorities while compiling and prioritizing enhancements, defect resolution, and solutions.
  • Provide broad oversight and guidance for activities, including analysis of business requirements and preparation of detailed technical specifications to write applications and programs.
  • Help set up high-level direction, strategic, and technical planning of systems/application technology in accordance with internal and external software compliance standards.
  • Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals and supervisors.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Responsible to create a best-in-class RPA Center of Excellence by providing robust and best-in-class RPA project deliveries.
  • Responsible to achieve best-in-class bot utilization.
  • Annually, 20% improvement in end-to-end process KPIs until best in class.
  • Develop a business case for senior leadership to get their sign-off for the expansion of the organization's RPA program to the next stage with new and improved software.
  • Manage and maintain change request sign-off from the functional leader to ensure respective headcount is released so that benefits can be realized in the organization's P&L.
  • Responsible to create a strong pipeline (at least for the next 2 years) for the sustainability of the RPA program.
  • Ensure 100% adherence to the organization's SOX and legal compliance policies while automating any RPA process.
  • Drive/schedule daily, weekly, and monthly discussions with process teams to discuss and identify improvement opportunities in the activities deployed in the production environment.
  • On-time and accurate process automation delivery.
  • Automation CSAT score of and above (in a scale of 1 to 5, where 5 is highest).

Major Opportunities and Decisions:

  • Able to build a servant leadership model in the organization to ensure that priorities are according to the organization's decision and not as per their own decision.
  • Experience with Agile development methodology to take care of changing requirements of the functional team.
  • Work with functional team leaders to help them identify various opportunities to improve deployed processes to minimize exceptions and average handling time.
  • On-time and errorless delivery of the automation project.

Management/Leadership:

  • Must have quality that future leaders will want to hone.
  • Must have the ability to understand complex RPA processes and identify areas of improvement.
  • Must have the ability to understand the goals of the organization and act accordingly to help the organization achieve its goals.
  • Must have the ability to analyze and resolve all issues within RPA projects in a short time.
  • Must have the ability to understand what their customers (functional team) do and why they do it, to avoid any business impact while managing the RPA project solutioning.
  • Team player, self-managed, self-motivated, and able to handle entire RPA programs independently without the help/guidance of other leadership teams.

Key Relationships, Stakeholders, & Interfaces:

  • Working with executive leadership, they select and prioritize projects to ensure work aligns with strategic goals.
  • Provide training to other team members on automation techniques.
  • Provide an enhanced level of customer service to internal and external groups (Bunge Global, Bunge APAC, Counterparties, and Statutory teams).
  • Drive automation CSAT score post-delivery of each automation project to make sure that the requirement of the requestor is met.
  • Monthly discussion with stakeholders and resolution of their queries to make sure no impact on business.
  • Monthly/weekly and daily reporting to functional leaders and CI & RPA leads.
  • Periodical audits for all RPA program documentation.

Knowledge and Technical Competencies:

  • Experience with Agile development methodology.
  • Experience with databases (SQL or NoSQL) often preferred.
  • Knowledge of RPA management and handling.
  • Understanding of workflow-based logic.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Superior time and project management skills.
  • Ability to present technical details to non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent problem-solving/analytical skills and complex troubleshooting methods.
  • Ability to work through ambiguous situations.
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently, and able to take initiative without always being directed.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and prioritize the most critical tasks and projects.

Education/Experience:

  • Minimum education qualification: Graduate.
  • >=5 years of work experience in process automation roles with leading BPO/SSC.
  • LEAN Six Sigma Green Belt trained from a reputed organization (not from an institute) will be preferred.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with statistical and process management software, such as Minitab, and flow charting software or process mapping software Visio.
  • Process knowledge in F&A operations.
  • Ability to provide a high-quality level of customer service.
  • Strong written & oral communications skills in English. Knowledge of Asia languages added advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving & organization skills.
  • Excellent computer skills and competency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Access, MS SQL).
  • Deliver at least 15 Access or Excel or SQL automation projects with a USD 5000 and above impact.
  • 5+ years' experience in any of the programming languages like C/C++, Python, VB Script, Ruby, Java, JS, .Net.
  • Basic programming knowledge on HTML, JavaScript (or any scripting language).
  • Able to design technical specification documents for RPA projects.
  • Experience developing and consuming APIs.
  • Blue Prism/Automation Anywhere RPA Developer certifications preferred but not required (training can be provided).
