Job Title: IT Asset Management Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to manage and optimize our IT asset lifecycle using industry-leading tools and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) modules to ensure compliance, cost optimization, and efficient asset tracking.
  • Manage the entire lifecycle of hardware and software assets from procurement to disposal, ensuring accurate tracking.
  • Establish workflows for asset requests, approvals, deployments, and returns.
  • Maintain an accurate Configuration Management Database (CMDB) for hardware and software assets.
  • Develop audit processes to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
  • Configure and maintain SAM module to track and manage software licenses, subscriptions, and usage across the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements and avoid audit risks.
  • Optimize software spending by identifying unused licenses and ensuring efficient allocation.
  • Generate compliance and usage reports for stakeholders and audits.

General Responsibilities:

  • Competent in creating and managing ITAM/ITOM dashboards, KPIs, and reporting.
  • Contribute to process design for Global Asset Management aligned with industry framework and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement asset management processes and solutions.
  • Monitor and resolve integration issues with other IT systems.
  • Design and maintain dashboards and reports for hardware and software assets.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on HAM/SAM processes and tools.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and tool features.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 5-7 years of experience in IT Asset Management.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow HAM and SAM processes and modules.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes, especially asset and configuration management.
  • Experience with CMDB configuration and management.
