Lead Migration Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced migration lead to oversee the seamless transition of our clients' UKG Workforce Central data to Dimensions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive migration strategies, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clients and business units, to align expectations and goals.
  • Create and manage project roadmaps, timelines, and resource plans.
  • Drive project governance, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
Technical Setup & Integration:
  • Configure and test UKG Workforce Central and Dimensions modules, including Timekeeping, Accruals, Pay Rules, and Advanced Scheduling.
  • Ensure accurate mapping and transformation of legacy data to Dimensions.
  • Validate system setup through rigorous testing and client walkthroughs.
  • Collaborate with UKG and client IT teams to ensure infrastructure readiness.
Integration & Reporting:
  • Oversee Dell Boomi integration efforts between UKG and external systems (e.g., Successfactors, Workday, Oracle, Infor).
  • Troubleshoot and optimize integration workflows for performance and reliability.
  • Support development and customization of BIRT reports for operational and compliance needs.
Team Management & Initiative:
  • Mentor and guide a team of UKG analysts, technical consultants, and testers.
  • Promote a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and process optimization.
  • Stay current with UKG product updates and best practices to drive innovation.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience with UKG Workforce Central and/or Dimensions.
  • Proven track record in leading UKG migration projects.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Time and Attendance configuration.
  • Expertise in Boomi integration and data transformation.
  • Working knowledge of BIRT reporting and Advanced Scheduling.
  • Excellent client-facing communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in complex environments.
