Creative Digital Interface Specialist

As a key member of our digital design team, you will be responsible for crafting innovative and user-centered web interfaces that meet the evolving needs of our users.

About the Role:

  1. We are seeking a skilled UX/UI designer to join our team, who can work on designing user interfaces from scratch using Figma, Adobe XD or similar tools.
  2. The ideal candidate should have experience in converting designs into responsive front-end pages using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  3. In addition, they should be comfortable working with backend code in Java or Python to integrate APIs and dynamic features.
  4. They must also be able to create and maintain design systems, UI components, and style guides to ensure consistency throughout our applications.
  5. Testing UI across various browsers and devices is another crucial aspect of this role, as well as identifying and resolving UI/UX issues.
  6. Maintaining version control using Git and collaborating with the development team to submit work regularly is also essential.
  7. Effective communication with stakeholders and coordination with content and faculty teams is vital for success in this position.

Requirements:

  • Fresher or experienced candidates are welcome, with a willingness to train promising fresher candidates.
  • A strong portfolio of web UI work, including link or GitHub repository with code samples, is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, and basic understanding of responsive and accessible design principles are required.
  • Comfortable writing front-end code (HTML5, CSS3, basic JavaScript) and exposure to Java or Python, with ability to implement or test backend endpoints, is a plus.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a small team environment are highly valued.

Bonus Skills:

  • Proficiency in Node.js, React, or Angular would be an asset.
  • Familiarity with Webpack, Babel, and other modern front-end build tools is a plus.
