
Defence Business Developer

The primary objective of this role is to successfully convert customer leads into sales opportunities and drive revenue growth within the designated area.
- Tender Conversion, Customer Engagement, and Sales Performance:
- Understand and effectively address customer defence business requirements by providing suitable product quotes.
- Achieve targeted sales from allocated territories while maintaining profitability through revenue generation from high-value machines and tool-up products.
- Visit defence factories to grasp customer requirements that align with our products and submit comprehensive bid proposals.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Execute scheduled sales tasks efficiently.
- Participate in exhibitions to promote products and stimulate customer enquiries.
- Nurture strong client relationships through proactive support and continuous new opportunity recommendations.
- Provide constructive feedback for customer visits during daily review sessions.
- Drive Defence business expansion in target markets.
- Ensure timely execution of on-field enquiry conversion tasks assigned by Defence Incharge.
- Stay abreast of market trends and competitor activities.
- Forward Defence budgetary enquiries to headquarters.
- Coordinate customer site visits for machine inspections at MTD facilities.
- Meet or exceed Defence/Government-related sales revenue targets from high-value machines/tool-up products.
