Senior Books Category Manager

We are seeking a skilled Category Manager to drive the growth and profitability of our Books category. This involves overseeing the end-to-end customer experience, developing strategic initiatives, and managing key inputs to drive business results.
Main Responsibilities:- Growth Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to increase online penetration for readers and learners in India.
- Category Management: Manage the category topline and inputs directly, influencing programs to build a solid trajectory for the Books P&L.
- Tactical Execution: Influence external (Seller) and internal (Account Management, Pricing, Selection, Product, and Marketing) teams to drive business growth.
- Excel Proficiency: 3+ years of experience with Excel.
- Retail Operations Experience: 5+ years of retail, operations, product or program management, or business management/consulting experience.
- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of professional or military experience.
- Financial Analysis: Experience with financial analysis and P&L ownership.
- Data Management: Experience managing large data sets and utilizing to drive performance and process improvements.
- Vendor Negotiations: Experience in vendor negotiations, pricing, and promotion, inventory management, and product development.
