Trade Development Specialist

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Trade Development Specialist to spearhead trade-related initiatives. The ideal candidate will drive the promotion of international and domestic trade opportunities across industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Trade Missions: Coordinate inbound and outbound trade missions, identify target markets, facilitate B2B meetings, and foster cross-border business partnerships.
  • Market Enquiries: Manage and respond to trade-related queries from businesses, provide members with access to credible business leads and international contacts, assist in matchmaking with potential overseas partners.
  • Business Networking: Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, embassies, trade bodies, and industry associations, develop strategies to strengthen trade ties and promote business engagement in key regions.
  • Market Intelligence & Reporting: Maintain strong knowledge of Indian industry sectors and macroeconomic trends, prepare trade insights, briefing notes, and analytical reports for internal use and senior management, support in the promotion of trade fairs, exhibitions, and industry events.

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in International Business, Economics, Trade, or a related field, 3-5 years of experience in trade development, international business, or related domains, excellent organizational, planning, and project management abilities, strong verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, ability to work independently, multitask, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
