Medical Writer - Develop Content

The successful Medical Writer will develop high-quality content, including slide decks, infographics, congress and meetings materials, literature searches and reviews, standard response letters/medical information letters, and HCP engagement content according to client and audience needs with excellent attention to detail.

  • Develop high-quality scientific materials for various formats.
  • Review and supervise deliverables from junior writers and provide constructive feedback.
  • Mentor and train junior writers by sharing best practices and client preferences.
  • Collaborate with team members on digital solutions for clients.
  • Ensure content compliance with client requirements and SOPs.
  • Develop innovative solutions for medical communications initiatives in the digital space.

Required Skills:

The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of biopharma industry expertise, medical communications, scientific writing, team leadership, collaboration, and digital content creation. A good understanding of clinical research and medical communication is also necessary.

  • PhD/MD in medicine, life sciences, health sciences, pharmacy, pharmacology; MPharm/MSc with a good understanding of clinical research and medical communication.
  • 7-10 years of experience in writing and reviewing scientific/medical communications for Medical Affairs or biopharma, preferably in an agency setting.
  • Strong ability to interpret, evaluate, and present scientific data clearly and concisely.
  • Good understanding of biostatistics, MS Office, and literature review.
  • Skilled in developing digital content to enhance scientific publications and support medical communications.
