We are seeking a highly skilled Mathematical Modeler and Data Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing mathematical and statistical models to solve complex business problems.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.

Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities
  • Model Development: Develop and implement mathematical and statistical models to solve complex business problems.
  • Data Analysis: Use C/C++ and Python to design algorithms for data analysis, simulation, and optimization.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and other specialists to integrate models into larger systems.
  • Statistical Analysis: Conduct statistical analyses, hypothesis testing, and predictive modeling.
  • Validation and Testing: Ensure the accuracy and reliability of models by performing thorough validation and testing.
  • Industry Trends: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in mathematical modeling and computational techniques.
  • Communication: Communicate findings, results, and methodologies clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree: Bachelors or Masters degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. PhD preferred.
  • Experience: Proven experience in mathematical and statistical modeling.
  • Programming Skills: Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python.
  • Libraries and Tools: Experience with libraries such as NumPy, SciPy, TensorFlow, or equivalent.
  • Data Visualization: Familiarity with data visualization tools like Matplotlib, Seaborn, or similar.
  • Database Management: Proficient in handling large datasets and working with databases (SQL, NoSQL).
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
  • Parallel Computing: Knowledge of parallel computing, multithreading, and optimization techniques.
  • Specialized Areas: Experience in one or more specialized areas, such as quantitative finance, operations research, or engineering simulations.
  • Cloud Computing: Familiarity with cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
