Accounting & Finance Professional

The Accounting and Finance professional in this role plays a pivotal part in managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring statutory compliance, performing reconciliations, and delivering timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate financial records, ensure timely closure of accounts, and record journal entries with precision.
  • Invoicing & Payments: Prepare and issue invoices, follow up on collections, process vendor payments, and manage payables as per agreed terms.
  • Reconciliations: Perform ledger reconciliations (banks, accounts receivable, accounts payable), conduct monthly GSTR-2B reconciliation, and coordinate with vendors for pending filings. Additionally, perform quarterly reconciliation of Form 26AS.
  • Statutory Compliance: Ensure timely payment and filing of statutory dues, including GST, TDS, PF, ESI, PT, and other applicable compliances.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present monthly MIS reports to management, providing insights into financial performance and helping inform strategic decisions.
  • Audit Support: Coordinate with external auditors, resolve queries, and provide required documentation to ensure smooth audit processes.
  • Professional Development: Maintain a strong understanding of provisions of the Income Tax Act and Companies Act applicable to companies, staying up-to-date on changes and updates.
  • Technical Skills: Work effectively on Tally, QuickBooks, and Zoho Books, leveraging these tools to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Handle additional tasks and responsibilities assigned by management, demonstrating adaptability and a willingness to learn and grow.
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in accounting and finance, with a strong track record of accomplishment.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian taxation, statutory compliances, and accounting standards.
  • Proficiency in Tally, QuickBooks, and Zoho Books, with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
