Job Role Overview

The Real Estate Legal position involves providing expert legal expertise and support for real estate matters within the transport and distribution industry. As a key team member, you will ensure compliance and manage legal aspects related to third-party logistics operations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Diligently oversee due diligence processes for property acquisitions and disposals, encompassing title verification, encumbrance checks, and risk assessments.
  • Craft, review, and negotiate intricate real estate contracts, agreements, leases, licenses, and other relevant documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to applicable local, state, and central laws and regulations pertaining to land, property, and construction.
  • Collaborate with external legal counsel and government authorities for approvals, litigations, and dispute resolution.
  • Offer guidance on land acquisition processes, zoning laws, environmental regulations, and development permissions.
  • Pursue disputes and litigation involving real estate matters in coordination with internal and external legal teams.
  • Resolve long-standing land issues with Government, farmers, etc.
  • Maintain awareness of changes in real estate laws and regulations and proactively advise the business on potential impacts.
  • Foster close collaboration with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
