Job Title: PCB Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled PCB Designer to join our team.

  1. This is a hands-on role that involves designing and developing printed circuit boards (PCBs) from scratch.
  2. As a PCB Designer, you will be responsible for creating layouts, schematics, and other necessary documentation for the production of high-quality PCBs.
  3. Expertise in ECAD tools such as Allegro/Xpedition software is required.
  4. You should have a strong understanding of technical requirements and customer input to execute layout engineering efficiently.
  5. Experience in designing Layout for motherboards using Intel, AMD, NXP, TI processors is highly desirable.
  6. Familiarity with IPC design standards for library creation, PCB design, and schematic entry is essential.
  7. You will work on placing components on the PCB while considering analog, digital, power, and high-speed circuitry.
  8. High-speed net routing and usage of blind & buried vias are crucial skills for this role.
  9. A good understanding of physical, spacing, and electrical constraint settings is also required.
  10. You should be able to read and understand schematics independently.
  11. Awareness of Signal Integrity and Power Integrity concepts for PCB Design is necessary.
  12. The ideal candidate will be able to work closely with PCB manufacturers and assembly houses to ensure manufacturing rules are followed.
  13. Self-motivation, independence, and minimal supervision are expected.
  14. Excellent documentation skills regarding PCB Guidelines, Processes, Checklists are necessary.
  15. Thermal impact analysis and expertise in DFM, DFA, DFS, and DFT analysis are highly valued.
  16. Gerber and ODB++ generation and review are essential tasks.
