Job Overview:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. QA Automation Engineer to join our team, responsible for translating test cases to automation scripts using C# for GUI/API tests.
  • The ideal candidate will adhere to coding standards and guidelines defined for automation and have a good understanding of web-based architecture.
  • The selected individual will review code and fix issues identified in scheduled automation runs and be proactive in working on both manual and automation testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate test cases to automation scripts using C# for GUI/API tests.
  • Adhere to coding standards and guidelines defined for automation.
  • Perform manual testing of web-based applications and web services in a client-server environment.
  • Be proactive in working on both manual and automation testing.
  • Have a good understanding of web-based architecture and manage to debug any web or server errors.
  • Review code and fix issues identified in scheduled automation runs.
  • Perform root cause analysis of script failures/logged bugs.
  • Submit and track automation-identified defects.
  • Escalate and follow up in a timely manner about all blocking issues and deviations from SOPs.
  • Have very good knowledge of the SDLC and STLC process.

Technical Requirements:

  • Holds solid knowledge in automation testing.
  • Has good experience in C#.
  • Experience in testing web services and REST APIs.
  • Hands-on experience in service testing tools like Fiddler, SOAP UI, POSTMAN, Protractor, and Playwright.
