Job Description

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Automation Specialist to join our team. This role is remote and involves working closely with development teams to ensure software quality goals are being achieved.

You will be responsible for implementing automated tests, ensuring early detection of bugs and risks, and proposing process improvements in the context of our continuous improvement strategy.

As a Quality Assurance Automation Specialist, you will work closely with country distribution and core domain squads to ensure software quality goals are being achieved.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring that software bugs are detected early in the Software Development Lifecycle
  • Implementing automated tests for multiple testing scenarios in the context of a wide range of country instances
  • Continuously extending the coverage of automation tests to support early detection of bugs and risks
  • Working closely with country distribution and core domain squads to ensure software quality goals are being achieved
  • Proposing process improvements in the context of our continuous improvement strategy, and driving their implementation
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Solid experience with automated testing, with at least 7 years of experience
  • Knowledge of at least one software development language
  • Experience with Selenium, Cucumber, or similar technologies
  • Experience building automated test suites for build/regression testing
  • Experience with Jenkins, CircleCI, Bamboo, or similar tools
Benefits

While not mandatory, the following qualifications will be valued:

  • Experience building Load/Stress Tests, using tools such as JMeter, Blazemeter, Apache Benchmark or similar
  • Experience in a continuous integration/deployment environment
  • Experience building tests in the context of a microservice/SOA architecture
  • Experience testing interfaces and APIs using SOAP-UI, Rest-Assured,or similar tools

The selected candidate will be required to master all necessary tools and components required to perform assigned tasks and follow software development best practices and methodologies adopted by the company.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to produce relevant documentation and guidelines to support the quality as everyone's responsibility strategy.
