About the Role:

  • Lead a high-performing team of engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure their success.
  • Develop and implement technical strategies to drive business growth, improve efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and research, to align technical execution with business objectives.
  • Mentor and coach engineers to improve their skills, share knowledge, and foster a culture of innovation and experimentation.
  • Ensure the development of high-quality software solutions, prioritizing reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Foster open communication, transparency, and accountability within the team, promoting a culture of trust, respect, and empathy.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement within the team.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering, including senior-level hands-on coding.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing engineering teams, driving business growth, and improving efficiency.
  • Strong expertise in Typescript, Tailwind CSS, React, Node.js, Express.js, VIKE SSR, and Playwright.
  • Experience managing Scrum teams, enforcing sprint discipline, and ensuring Agile methodologies are followed.
  • Possession of excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Familiarity with AI and automation concepts, with real-world examples of integrating AI into development workflows.
  • Ability to make tough technical and people decisions, prioritizing speed, quality, and delivery.
  • Fluency in English.
