Job Title:

Senior Cost Optimization Specialist.

The role plays a crucial part in optimizing overall company spending, including freight payments and operational expenses. This involves strategic negotiations, procurement support, and financial management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement cost minimization strategies across all categories.
  • Conduct in-depth cost analyses to identify opportunities for reduction.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to cost savings.
  • Lead negotiations with vendors to secure optimal pricing and terms.
  • Develop negotiation strategies to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Build strong relationships with vendors for mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Oversee the procurement process to ensure efficiency and compliance.
  • Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts.
  • Identify and implement new procurement solutions.
  • Manage accurate financial records for assigned cost and profit centers.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports and forecasts.
  • Support budget development and implementation.
  • Manage accounts payable processes.
  • Conduct vendor due diligence and risk assessments.
Requirements:
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent preferred.
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field with relevant experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial operations with focus on cost control and negotiation.
  • Previous experience managing cost and profit centers.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes and best practices.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
