Senior Cost Optimization Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Costing Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and profitability through effective cost management.
About the Role:The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or a related field, and 2-5 years of experience in cost engineering or cost analysis in a manufacturing setup. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities, attention to detail, and ability to work under deadlines are essential requirements.
Main Responsibilities:- Cost Planning and Analysis: Prepare and maintain standard costing for all products and processes, analyze material, labor, and overhead costs, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Cost Modeling and Forecasting: Develop and maintain the costing model for all products, including BOMs (Bill of Materials) and routings, and perform variance analysis (standard vs actual cost).
- Collaboration and Support: Collaborate with engineering and production teams to assess design changes and their impact on cost, support the new product development (NPD) process by providing cost inputs at the design and prototyping stages, and evaluate supplier quotations and compare with internal cost benchmarks.
