We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to manage, monitor and support our Google Cloud Platform environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in GCP administration and support, as well as hands-on knowledge of GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, IAM and Networking.Key responsibilities include administering and supporting GCP infrastructure services, monitoring system health, performance and availability using GCP monitoring tools, managing user access and security policies via IAM and service accounts, performing incident management, troubleshooting and root cause analysis for GCP services, deploying and configuring networking within GCP, automating operational tasks using Terraform / Deployment Manager / scripts, supporting backup, recovery and disaster recovery solutions on GCP and collaborating with development and DevOps teams for application deployment and integration.The successful candidate will also have good knowledge of Linux/Windows system administration, familiarity with scripting (Python, Shell, PowerShell, etc.) for automation, understanding of networking (DNS, VPN, Load Balancing, Firewalls, Virtual Private Cloud peering), experience with monitoring, logging and alerting tools (Stackdriver / Cloud Monitoring) and knowledge of Cloud Security best practices, IAM and compliance.In addition, the ideal candidate will be familiar with ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management) and possess strong problem-solving and communication skills.Required Skills:
  • Strong experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) administration and support.
  • Hands-on with GCP services: Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, IAM, Networking, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Kubernetes Engine, Pub/Sub.
  • Good knowledge of Linux/Windows system administration.
  • Familiarity with scripting (Python, Shell, PowerShell, etc.) for automation.
  • Understanding of networking (DNS, VPN, Load Balancing, Firewalls, Virtual Private Cloud peering).
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (Stackdriver / Cloud Monitoring).
  • Knowledge of Cloud Security best practices, IAM, and compliance.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management).
