Job Title: Data Engineering Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tackle the technical aspects of data pipeline and migration projects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop automated end-to-end data engineering solutions.
  • Create data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and augmentation of structured, unstructured, and real-time data.
  • Identify and implement process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, redesigning infrastructure for scalability.
  • Solve data quality issues raised by pipeline alerts or downstream consumers.
  • Implement data governance best practices.
  • Offer advice on technical solutions and improvements to data systems.
  • Maintain clear documentation on data models/schemas.
  • Develop tools for data extraction, analysis, and visualization through data pipelines.
  • Lead the software lifecycle: development, code reviews, testing, deployment, and documentation for batch ETL's.

Requirements:

A minimum of 7-12+ years of experience in SQL database design, data architecture, ETL, Data Warehousing, Data Mart, Data Lake, Big Data, Cloud (AWS), and Data Governance domains is required.
