Job Title: Data Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to design, develop, and maintain large-scale data processing systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Engineering: Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Talend, Datastage, Informatica ISS, or other tools
  • Data Analysis: Develop complex SQL and PL/SQL scripts for data manipulation and analysis
  • System Administration: Maintain Linux/Unix environments and ensure optimal system performance
  • Pipeline Development: Implement data pipelines using Python, Pubsub, Big Query, and CICD
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data architectures
Requirements:
  • Cloud Platform Experience: Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) components such as GCS, BigQuery, AirFlow, Cloud SQL, PubSub/Kafka, and Google Cloud SDK
  • Database Knowledge: Knowledge of RDBMS and Hadoop
  • Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Agile life cycle and ability to manage changes, incidents, and problems
  • Scheduler Experience: Experience with Control M or UC4 Atomic schedulers
Preferred Qualifications:
  • GCP Certification: GCP Data Engineer certification
  • NiFi/Kafka Expertise: NiFi/Kafka experience
