Job Overview

Embark on a challenging role as an Internal Auditor Assistant Manager. We seek a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our concurrent auditing efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough audits of loan products, disbursements, and operational activities to ensure adherence to established policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Identify and report deviations, irregularities, or non-compliance with company procedures or regulatory requirements.
  • Assess internal controls' effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements to mitigate risks and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Review loan portfolios, including applications, agreements, collateral valuation, and documentation to ensure compliance with legal policies and regulations.
  • Prepare comprehensive audit reports, including findings, observations, and recommendations, and present them to management and stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in law, accounting, finance, or a related field (LLB/CA-Inter/MBA preferred).
  • Proven experience as an auditor, preferably in the housing finance industry, with a focus on concurrent auditing.
  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, and auditing standards.
  • Familiarity with regulatory guidelines and compliance requirements applicable to housing finance companies.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to prepare clear and concise audit reports and present findings.
  • Proficiency in using audit software, data analysis tools, and MS Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple concurrent audits while adhering to strict deadlines.
  • Ethical conduct, integrity, and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
