Digital Transformation Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze the business strategy and vision to develop an enterprise-wide technology vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities for growth, customer experience, and efficiency.
• Examine the value chain and business capabilities to understand strategic objectives, KPIs, processes, and underlying systems delivering business outcomes.
• Evaluate the impact of the business strategy on the business capability model and business processes to identify optimization opportunities through tech-enabled solutions across the organization, systems, data, infrastructure, and applications.
• Analyse business models, business model innovation/incubation, and have strong experience in one or more areas: Market Strategy, Pricing/Monetization, Finance, Ecosystem Management, and/or Product Management.
• Analyse client's (IT) Operating Model including the organization structure, processes, and governance while developing recommendations and/or creating actionable roadmaps.
• Spearhead significant experience in: 1) developing a business capability model for the enterprise; 2) analysing an enterprise-wide portfolio of systems/platforms; and 3) acting as a guardian of the transformation strategy and business architecture to ensure new initiatives comply with strategic priorities.
• Guide clients through large, enterprise-wide transformations to implement their strategies and business architecture. Experience working with IT leadership (e.g., CIO, IT Director) and business leadership (e.g., CFO, COO, BU leader, etc.) to help shape and guide the IT strategic and improvement agenda.
• Become a trusted advisor on 'innovation' framing key business and technology trends within the context of the client's objectives, identifying potential implications and impacts.
• Leverage global networks and cross-functional expertise to develop relevant architecture insights.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Lead conversations with client stakeholders, requiring strong communication skills for interactions with CIO, CEO, CFO, and other senior leadership.
• Build and develop trusted relationships as a strategic technology advisor with clients and work internally across advisory teams to bring comprehensive end-to-end services effectively addressing business challenges.
• Develop thought leadership, defining approaches to provide structured solutions to complex technology strategy problems, by recombining existing methodologies and teams.
• Manage engagement teams, providing leadership in the assessment, design, and management of successful Business-IT transformation engagements in collaboration with clients.
• Help recruit, develop, and retain strategy professionals, coach, mentor team members, deliver architecture-related training, and take on practice management tasks as needed.
• Be proficient in using various tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, visualization tools, MS-Project, etc.).
• Support in developing new solution offerings, tools, and knowledge repositories.
• Work independently on projects or as part of small consulting teams.
• Be self-driven and organized, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Have experience in pursuit teams, conceptualizing propositions, and presenting solutions to clients.
• Create expert content for point-of-view, utilizing advanced presentation, public speaking, content creation, and communication skills for C-Level discussions.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of a specific industry, client, or technology, acting as an expert to advise senior leadership.

Qualifications:

• A strong academic background with an MBA from top-tier B-schools.
• A background in Strategy Consulting (top-tier firms), with 5+ years of relevant experience in large-scale, enterprise-wide transformations.
• Min. of 5+ years of specific industry/sector experience through completed client engagements related to business transformation. Should have experience in one or more sectors: Financial Services, Retail, Healthcare/Pharma, Telecom, e-commerce, etc.
• Demonstrated experience driving business workshops, conducting deep-dive technology workshops, and collaboratively developing transformation visions, strategies, roadmaps, and blueprints.
• Experience assessing maturity of IT operating models and organizations' structures to determine optimization opportunities. Should understand IT-business alignment, IT strategy, planning, development of current and future-state IT architecture, roadmaps, IT/Digital maturity assessments, etc.
• Experience with large transformations related to customer experience, process re-engineering, digital, cloud, automation, AI/ML/advanced analytics, next-gen/emerging tech (IoT, blockchain, virtual twins, etc).
• Conduct research and analyses of operational effectiveness, processes, stakeholders, etc., creating end-to-end visibility into how the organization executes operations today and identifying systemic issues impacting business performance.
• Should have experience designing and managing effective IT governance frameworks across the spectrum of IT service delivery.
• Should be able to analyze data and translate findings into meaningful insights, integrating relevant business knowledge.
• Should have knowledge about or exposure to areas such as IT Service Management and Governance, Agile methodologies, Data Visualization, Cloud Technologies, Emerging Technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced business and/or technology degrees from top-tier schools (MBA, Masters).
• Experience presenting directly to the C-Suite and explaining complex concepts to anyone from an intern to a CFO, CHRO, or CMO.
• Experience working with IT leadership (e.g., CIO, IT Director) and business leadership (e.g., CFO, COO, BU leader, etc.) to help shape and guide the strategic and improvement agenda.
• Speaking at industry conferences, round tables, and other public forums.
• Authoring articles and white papers.
• Business/Technology Innovation experience with emerging tech solutions leveraging power of combinatorial technologies AI/ML, Data Automation, Blockchain, IoT, etc.
• Exposure across key technology domains is preferred (Application, Data, DevOps, Infrastructure, Cloud, Network, Security, etc.).
• Demonstrated capability to drive sales and bring a network of client relationships to the firm.
• Relevant industry certification (e.g., TOGAF Biz Architect, Business Process Framework (eTOM Practitioner of TMForum), AWS Cloud Certified, etc.).
