Ruby on Rails Developer Job Opportunity

We seek an experienced software developer to contribute to the development of innovative healthcare technology platforms using Ruby on Rails.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable and efficient web applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
  • Implement microservices-based architectures using messaging/streaming platforms like Kafka and ZooKeeper.
  • Work closely with infrastructure engineers to ensure seamless integration with cloud services, particularly hosting and cloud infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain search functionality for high-performance results.
  • Implement security practices, including bot mitigation using Cloudflare or similar tools.
  • Monitor system performance using Datadog and troubleshoot issues promptly.
  • Participate in agile development environments, collaborating with colleagues to deliver high-quality software features.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding of project goals and objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 10-15 years of professional experience in software development with a focus on Ruby on Rails.
  • Strong knowledge of Ruby on Rails and experience with Sinatra.
  • Proven experience working with microservices-based architectures.
  • Familiarity with messaging/streaming platforms like Kafka and ZooKeeper.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud services (especially hosting and cloud infrastructure).
  • Experience with security practices including bot mitigation.
  • Proficiency in infrastructure monitoring tools, preferably Datadog.
  • Strong debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience working in agile development environments.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Prior experience in healthcare technology platforms is highly valued.
