Senior Research Professional - Investment Banking

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Investment Research practice with profit and loss responsibility.
  • Identify growth opportunities through new products or market entry.
  • Provide leadership support to the delivery team, achieving quality and operational excellence.
  • Assist in winning new clients and establishing best practices in employee engagement and training.
  • Support marketing initiatives, write thought leadership papers, and represent the company on media platforms.
  • Foster strong client relationships and lead team-building efforts.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Team-oriented with excellent communication skills.
  • Able to multitask with attention to detail and analytical orientation.
  • Strong client management skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • A high achiever, driven, and motivated to deliver results.
  • Excellent sales and business development skills.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
  • 15+ years of experience, with at least 7+ years in managing teams in investment research.
  • Experience in KPO industry handling Private Equity/Investment Banking/Asset Management/Brokerage clients.
  • Relevant background in research within the BFSI industry considered.
  • Strong knowledge of finance, macro drivers, valuation methodologies, and investor pitch document preparation.
  • Able to provide strategic insights and financial analysis to buy-side and sell-side clients.
  • Manage equity research processes, including global stock coverage, financial modeling, and valuation assessments.
  • Lead investment due diligence for private equity, M&A advisory, and corporate finance clients.
  • Essential exposure to business development activities such as identifying solutions, preparing pitch decks, and participating in business meetings.
  • Ideal experience across multiple research domains, including equity and credit markets, investment banking, business strategies, and market assessment.
