Job Description:

  1. Understanding of RF Hardware and System Design: The successful candidate will have an understanding of RF hardware and system design principles.
  2. RF Component Characteristics and Validation: Knowledge of RF component characteristics and validation including PLL, LNA, Mixer, PA, Filter, Coupler, switch etc.
  3. Power Management Components: Understanding of power management components including LDO and Buck converter.
  4. Schematic Creation: Experience with schematic creation tools like OrCAD Capture.
  5. PCB Layout and Routing: Ability to guide PCB team for RF PCB layout and routing.
  6. RF Measurement Techniques: Knowledge of RF measurement techniques such as Harmonics, IP3, Noise Figure, Gain, P1dB, VSWR etc.
  7. Lab Equipment: Hands-on experience with lab equipment like Oscilloscope, Spectrum analyzer, Vector network analyzer, Power meter and Signal Generator.
  8. RF Tools: Experience with RF tools like ADS, AWR and HFSS.
  9. RADAR Subsystem/System Design: Experience in RADAR subsystem/system design.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Frequency Planning: Responsible for frequency planning, power budget analysis and compliance to specifications/requirements.
  2. Module Level Architectures: Creating, reviewing and documenting module level architectures for RF sub-systems.
  3. Project Documentation: Creating project documentation needed for design, reviews, test procedures, ATP/QTP, etc.
  4. Team Collaboration: Interacting with Digital Hardware, FPGA RTL, Software and Mechanical teams during design stage.
  5. Testing and Qualification: Involved in testing, integration and qualification of systems.

Mandatory Skill Set:

  1. TR Module Design: Experienced in TR module design, CW/Pulsed Power Amplifier design, Synthesizer Design, Up/Down Convertor Design, Lumped and Distributed element filter design.
  2. Team Leadership: Handling a team of 2 or more Engineers (Design & Sr. Design Engineers).
