Job Opportunity

About the Role:

  • We are seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team. This individual will have a deep understanding of cloud computing platforms and technologies, with expertise in Kubernetes, AWS, Argo CD, APIs, containers, cloud security, Agile ways of working, and hands-on coding.
  • The ideal candidate will be able to lead and mentor other engineers, architect and implement cloud-based solutions, and troubleshoot issues that arise during work hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain cloud-based solutions using Kubernetes, AWS, and other relevant technologies.
  • Lead and mentor other engineers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest cloud computing technologies and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-based and networking issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure that cloud-based solutions meet business needs.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in distributed computing.
  • Experience with a variety of cloud computing platforms and technologies, including AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and GitHub.
  • Hands-on coding experience in Python, Java, or Go.
  • Familiarity with GitOps as a deployment methodology.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
