Job Title: Billing Clerk Specialist

The Billing Clerk Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the financial accuracy of our operations by preparing and issuing bills to clients within the required timelines.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and issue accurate bills to clients
  • Meet the billing deadlines
  • Enter bills into client billing systems
  • Submit bills electronically via data interchange
  • Understand key billing areas specific to clients
  • Verify each field on bills before submission
  • Ensure all necessary support documents and backups are attached to bills
  • Provide timely updates on bill submission status
  • Maintain bill submission logs and client billing process files for reference
  • Collaborate with the payroll & billing team to streamline the bill submission process
  • Send statements of accounts to clients
  • Reconcile self-billed cases with client-approved timesheets, addressing any billing/payment discrepancies
  • Handle bill rejections and credits/rebills
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the complete billing process, account-wise, and update them regularly
  • Provide continuous support for improving billing platforms
  • Assist credit control in billing and payment collection
