Building Automation Specialist

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of building automation systems. Your primary goal will be to ensure that these systems are functional, efficient, and meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Design and Architecture: Develop system architecture, including shop floor design, to meet client specifications.
  • Engineering Documentation: Prepare detailed engineering documents in accordance with industry standards.
  • Control Strategy and Logic: Develop control strategies and logic to optimize system performance.
  • Technical Solution and Optimization: Identify and implement technical solutions that improve system efficiency and reduce costs.

On-Site Installation and Coordination: Coordinate site installation, ensuring timely completion and high-quality workmanship. Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of systems.

System Support and Maintenance: Provide on-site technical support to resolve issues and facilitate operations and maintenance assistance. Perform routine maintenance tasks and troubleshoot existing systems.

Quality Control and Safety: Implement quality control procedures to maintain high standards and ensure safety protocols are adhered to at all times. Manage documentation records through our ERP system.

Leadership and Communication: Demonstrate leadership skills, participating in leadership activities and improving service delivery through collaboration with the service team. Focus on continuous improvement during regular meetings with client management.

Requirements:

  • Certifications: Niagara Certification (preferred).
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation / Electronics & Communications / Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Experience: Minimum 4-6 years of experience with commissioning building automation and control systems, preferably on the Niagara platform.
