Job Role: Senior Test Lead

Job Description:

As a Senior Test Lead at Network People Services Technologies Ltd., you will play a key role in driving our Quality Assurance strategy. You will lead end-to-end testing of mobile applications and web portals, ensuring high-quality software delivery through effective test planning, execution, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test strategies for different testing phases.
  • Lead API testing and reporting efforts using tools like Postman and Rest Assured.
  • Manage defects using JIRA, Open Project, or similar testing tools, ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of testing strategies with business goals.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Support Agile processes by participating in sprint planning, stand-up meetings, and retrospectives.
  • Provide basic project management support, including test execution tracking, risk assessment, and reporting project status to leadership.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in end-to-end testing of mobile applications and web portals.
  • Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and terminology, including bug triage, test strategies, and life cycle.
  • Hands-on experience with testing and tracking tools, including JIRA, Open Project, and API testing tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Basic understanding of development and deployment cycles, with ability to analyze and resolve technical issues.
  • Team handling and mentorship skills, with ability to guide junior QA engineers.
  • Basic project management experience, with ability to track test execution, report progress, and assess risks.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment, with ability to adapt to changing requirements.

Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in software engineering or computer science.

Experience: 6 to 8 years of experience.

Industry: IT/Software/BFSI/Banking/Fintech.

Work arrangement: 5 days working from office.

Location: Noida.
