Key Responsibilities">
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive risk-based annual audit plan, incorporating management inputs, business priorities, and assessment of the business risk environment.
  • Support vendor identification and finalization for program activities execution.
  • Oversee the execution of the Internal Audit Plan (in-house or outsourced) as approved by the audit committee, ensuring timely completion and reporting to stakeholders.
  • Lead functional audits (in-house or outsourced) as per the annual plan approved by the audit committee.
  • Monitor and report on open Internal Audit observations to all stakeholders every month.
  • Lead follow-up audits to assess efficacy and effectiveness of management remediation on observed internal audit reviews.
  • Establish and maintain Internal Audit SOP, including templates, protocols, and documentation requirements.
  • Create a repository of audit programs, checklists, templates, and tools for standardization and consistency in the internal audit process.
  • Plan, develop, and maintain audit support tools to enhance audit process quality and efficiency.
  • Partner with the Risk Management function, providing inputs to identify and assess entity and functional level risks.
  • Contribute to the risk identification and assessment program for emerging risks identified during the internal audit process.
  • Utilize risk assessment output to inform the development of an internal audit plan based on organizational needs.
  • Track risk mitigation steps, initiatives taken by management to assess their effectiveness, and adjust internal audit procedures accordingly.

  • Chartered Accountant (Essential Education)
  • CIA, CISA, CWA (Desired Education)

Experience

10 to 15 years of experience in implementing, delivering, and embedding risk management at both strategic and operational levels.

Proven experience in undertaking audits across a wide and diverse area of the organization.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to interface and influence all levels of management.
