Digital Marketing Training Specialist

About this Role
The Specialist Trainer will be responsible for creating and delivering high-quality training programs to ensure new employees are equipped with the necessary skills to excel in their roles within MarketStar’s Digital Marketing team.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop comprehensive onboarding programs for new employees, focusing on Digital Marketing processes and best practices.
  2. Evaluate employee performance to identify areas for improvement and create targeted training programs to address skill gaps.
  3. Conduct research on new teaching methods and technologies to stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements.
  4. Liaise with managers to determine training needs and schedule training sessions, ensuring seamless integration with business objectives.
  5. Prepare educational materials, such as module summaries, videos, and presentations, to support training programs.
  6. Support and mentor new employees, providing guidance and feedback to ensure their success in the role.
  7. Monitor employee performance and response to training, making adjustments as needed to optimize training effectiveness.

Requirements

  1. Proven experience as a trainer or in a similar role, with a focus on Digital Marketing.
  2. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate employees.
  3. B2B Sales cycle exposure, with a strong understanding of the sales process and customer engagement.
  4. Ability to identify gaps in skills and develop targeted training programs to address them.
  5. Knowledge of various teaching methods and approaches, with a focus on adult learning principles.
  6. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  7. Understanding of effective teaching methodologies and tools, with a focus on digital learning platforms and technologies.
  8. Willingness to keep abreast of new techniques in corporate teaching and learning.
  9. Proficient in MS Office, with a strong understanding of PowerPoint and e-learning software.
  10. Phenomenal communication, presentation, and public speaking skills, with the ability to engage and motivate audiences.
  11. Critical thinking and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
