Job Title: Senior RPG Developer

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior RPG Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing large-scale RPG applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AS400/RPG technologies, including expertise in RPGLE and RPG Free formatting. You will also have experience with SQL and SQLRPGLE, as well as a proven track record of leading teams from a development and system support setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop high-quality RPG code modules in JSON format
  2. Design and implement database schema using SQL and SQLRPGLE
  3. Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
  4. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  5. Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and best practices
Requirements:
  • Strong programming and design skills in AS400/RPG technologies
  • Experience with SQL and SQLRPGLE
  • Proven leadership and teamwork skills
  • Self-motivated and results-driven
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with warehouse management systems
  • Developing in-house software
  • PMP and ITIL Certifications
