GeM Operations Manager Job

We are seeking a seasoned GeM operations manager to oversee our Government e-Marketplace (GeM) operations and tender processes across government sectors. This role is critical in expanding our presence in public sector IT solutions and managing relationships with government clients.

The ideal candidate for this position will succeed in this role if they have both knowledge and technical depth about the company and the industry. This is essential as they will be a central person in the decision making process, working with multiple individuals across different teams when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations of GeM portal, including product catalog management, pricing updates, and order processing.">
  • Lead end-to-end tender management for IT government contracts, including preparation, submission, and follow-up.">
  • Ensure compliance with government procurement policies, GeM guidelines, and tender specifications.">
  • Coordinate between internal technical teams and public sector clients to deliver tailored IT solutions.">
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key government stakeholders and procurement officers.">
  • Monitor competitor activities and pricing strategies in government tenders.">
  • Manage documentation, contracts, and legal compliance for government projects.">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.

3-5 years of experience in GeM operations and government tender management.

Strong understanding of government procurement processes and policies.

Experience with IT sector tenders, particularly in cybersecurity, data centers, or digital infrastructure.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite and tender management tools.

Knowledge of compliance requirements for government contracts.
