Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Tech Business Dev Lead. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive market research and analysis, establishing business connections with relevant companies, and identifying potential clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Product Profiling: Develop technical product profiles of existing company products.
  • Market Analysis: Perform product comparison and mapping to identify opportunities.
  • Client Identification: Identify companies using similar products or components that align with our offerings.
  • Industry Research: Conduct market scanning and industry research to find suitable clients, segments, and market opportunities.
  • Business Development: Connect with procurement, engineering, and business development teams of target companies to explore contract manufacturing or supply partnerships.
  • Sales Pipeline: Create and manage a sales pipeline for contract-based orders and regularly update it.
  • Client Management: Maintain a database of clients, leads, interactions, and outcomes.
  • Proposal Coordination: Understand client requirements and coordinate internally to provide technical proposals.
  • Market Insights: Provide insights to the technical team based on client feedback and market demands for new product enhancements.
  • Networking: Attend relevant industry events to enhance visibility and networking.
  • Business Planning: Develop region-wise business acquisition plans with sales and outreach targets.

Requirements:

Education:

  • B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related engineering field.
  • PG Diploma/MBA in Marketing, Sales, or Business Development (preferred but not mandatory).

Experience:

Minimum 2-5 years of experience in technical sales, market research, or business development in manufacturing, preferably in defence/aerospace/industrial engineering sectors.

Skills:

  • Strong technical knowledge of industrial or defence-grade products.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confident and persuasive phone and in-person communication style.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM tools.
  • Good analytical and market research skills.
  • Ability to independently manage outreach and lead generation.
