The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation, working closely with data architects, developers, and business stakeholders.

Job Description

We are seeking a talented professional to play a critical part in the migration of enterprise data solutions from HANA to Snowflake, ensuring business continuity, data integrity, and performance optimization.

The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams including data engineers, BI developers, and business analysts to develop technical solutions that meet business needs.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business requirements and conduct feasibility studies of data analytics projects.
  • Collaborate with the capabilities team to identify source systems, source data sets, and source tables needed for data analytics.
  • Convert functional requirements to technical solutions and create detailed business requirement documents (BRD) and functional design documents (FD).
  • Perform unit testing of the solution and support business teams for completion of user acceptance testing.
  • Facilitate communication between business and IT teams.
  • Support deployment of technical solutions to production and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and performance in the new Snowflake environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in data analytics or data engineering roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communications skills, written and verbal.
  • Good exposure to SAP ERP systems like ECC or S/4HANA.
  • Understanding of data modeling concepts and ability to identify relationships between data sets.
  • Exposure to SQL queries and ability to query data for analysis/troubleshooting.
  • Exposure to BI reporting tools.
