Job Title: Financial Operations Manager

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing various financial activities, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  2. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
  3. Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
  1. Collaborate with other departments to create and manage budgets for different projects or operational areas.
  2. Monitor budget performance and variances, providing insights and recommendations for corrective actions.
  3. Develop accurate financial forecasts to support strategic planning.
Financial Analysis:
  1. Conduct thorough financial analysis to support decision-making and long-term planning.
  2. Provide insights on financial performance, cost control, and revenue enhancement opportunities.
  3. Assist in evaluating investment opportunities and business expansion strategies.
Team Management:
  1. Lead and mentor a team of accountants, ensuring their professional growth and development.
  2. Delegate tasks effectively, set performance goals, and conduct regular performance reviews.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree or professional certifications like CPA, CMA, ACCA can be advantageous).
  • Proven work experience as an Accounts Manager or in a similar financial management role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and taxation.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and financial management tools.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Problem-solving aptitude and strategic thinking.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
