Job Title

Compliance Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute timely fieldwork and testing across laws, including AML, Privacy, Anti-corruption, Consumer Protection & Fairness.
  • Design and implement risk assessment programs, showcasing strong independent skills.
  • Communicate progress and findings to Manager Compliance Testing Team.
  • Lead conversations with senior stakeholders during kick offs, testing, and issue alignment discussions.
  • Mentor colleagues in upskilling themselves with relevant knowledge and practices.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives and participate in presentations to senior leadership.
  • Develop remediation plans to address findings.
  • Identify emerging regulatory risks or impending legislation impacting Compliance Monitoring Plan.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in internal audit, regulatory compliance within the Big Four or a bank/financial institution, preferably with Anti-Money Laundering background.
  • Good academic qualification with experience in compliance or legal, Anti-Money Laundering knowledge is an added advantage.
  • Chartered Accounts, CPA, CIA, ACAMS, MBA, and individuals with certifications in audit are preferred.
