  • We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Health Economist Analyst to join our team.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and supporting projects that involve health economic modeling, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Conduct literature reviews and collect model inputs
  2. Run country-specific adaptations of cost-effectiveness analysis (CEA) and budget impact analysis (BIA) models, including quality checks
  3. Support senior modelers on developing health economic decision-analytic models for undertaking either BIA or CEA/cost-utility analysis, including decision tree, Markov, partitioned survival models
  4. Support the development of deliverables such as model analysis plans, technical reports, and user guides
  5. Support the dissemination of findings through articles, posters, and presentations
  6. Contribute to process improvement efforts, including the development of global modeling materials, processes, and methodology with the Center of Excellence
  7. Participate in client calls as required

Requirements:

For this role, we are looking for individuals with the following skills and qualifications:

  1. Master's degree in a life science field or equivalent
  2. 0-2 years of hands-on experience working on country-specific adaptation and supporting the build of de novo pharmacoeconomic models and running analysis in the industry or academia
  3. Basic understanding of statistics and advanced analytics is a plus
  4. Skilled in advanced Excel and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)
  5. Ability to conduct allocated tasks relatively unsupervised with management sense-checking support/scientific oversight by technical experts
  6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with good verbal and written English language skills
  7. Familiarity with literature reviews and ability to collect information from secondary sources and analyze information to come up with strategic insights
  8. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
