Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Crop Production Manager to lead our team in delivering farm extension services, promoting organic contract farming practices among growers. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to make a significant impact on our organization's success.

The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing agricultural commodities in line with quality and pricing parameters, expanding the area under organic cultivation as per targets, and collaborating with the team to develop and execute a state-wise business plan, focusing on key performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Farm Extension Services: Deliver high-quality farm extension services, promoting organic contract farming practices among growers, and contributing to the growth of the agricultural sector.
  • Sourcing Agricultural Commodities: Source agricultural commodities that meet quality and pricing parameters, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to specifications.
  • Organic Cultivation: Expand the area under organic cultivation as per targets, increasing revenue and market share for the organization.
  • Business Planning: Collaborate with the team to develop and execute a state-wise business plan, focusing on key performance indicators, and driving business growth.
  • Team Performance: Review team performance, ensure alignment with organizational goals, and make recommendations for improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree: Hold a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or a related field.
  • Experience: Possess minimum 1-5 years of experience in field crop production, preferably in a leadership role.
