E-commerce Quality Assurance Specialist

Are you a detail-oriented and proactive Manual QA Engineer with hands-on experience in e-commerce platforms? We are seeking an ideal candidate to join our growing QA team.
As a Manual QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of e-commerce features by designing and executing test cases for web and mobile platforms. Your strong understanding of end-to-end testing workflows such as product listings, cart functionality, checkout, and payment integration will be essential in identifying and documenting bugs using tools like JIRA or similar.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze system specifications and business requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle
- Design and execute test cases (manual) for web and mobile platforms
- Perform regression, functional, integration, and UI testing for e-commerce features
- Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA or similar
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5–7 years of experience as a Manual QA Tester
- Proven experience testing e-commerce platforms or applications
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle
- Hands-on experience with test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr)
- Experience working with issue tracking tools like JIRA
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Nice to Have:
- Experience in API testing using Postman or similar tools
- Familiarity with databases and ability to write basic SQL queries
