Backend Java Developer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Java Backend Developer to join our technology team. The successful candidate will design, develop, and deploy scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems for mobile applications.

About the Role:

  • Design and implement efficient, modular, and maintainable Java-based microservices.
  • Develop and maintain robust RESTful APIs and backend components using Java 8+ and Spring Boot or equivalent frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate third-party services, payment gateways, authentication providers, and other key services.
  • Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of services used by mobile clients.
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and agile ceremonies to drive innovation and best practices.
  • Implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and contribute to DevOps automation.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Java 8+ with experience in Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, or Micronaut.
  • Solid understanding of microservices architecture, service orchestration, and interservice communication.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, OAuth2/JWT, and API security practices.
  • Proficient in using PostgreSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and asynchronous communication.
  • Understanding of containerization (Docker) and deployment to Kubernetes or cloud-native platforms.
  • Exposure to API Gateway tools (e.g., Kong, Apigee, AWS API Gateway).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Familiarity with GraphQL, gRPC, or WebSockets.

& Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
