Large Language Model Program Manager Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Large Language Model initiatives.

This role will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of projects involving data annotation, fine-tuning, reinforcement learning with human feedback, evaluation, and deployment of LLMs at scale.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Leadership:
  • Drive planning, execution, and delivery of LLM/GenAI projects across multiple geographies.
  • Manage multi-country teams consisting of engineers, annotators, contractors, and vendors.
  • Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders including engineering, product, legal, and compliance departments.
  • Technical Oversight:
  • Collaborate closely with ML Engineers, Data Scientists, and MLOps teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Translate research and business needs into actionable project milestones and deliverables.
  • Oversee dataset collection, cleaning, multilingual annotation, and model training processes.
  • Operational Excellence:
  • Establish efficient workflows for SFT, RLHF/RLEF, and evaluation pipelines to ensure high-quality outputs.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as throughput, quality, accuracy, latency, and cost efficiency.
  • Governance & Compliance:
  • Ensure adherence to data security, privacy, OFAC compliance, and ethical AI standards in all aspects of the role.
  • Work closely with legal counsel on contracts, vendor agreements, and global workforce compliance matters.
  • Business Alignment:
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to define roadmap and ROI goals for LLM projects.
  • Communicate status, risks, and outcomes effectively to executive leadership and clients.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and vendors including Google, Meta, Appen, Scale AI, and others.
