Job Role Overview:

As a Senior Software Development Engineer, you will be part of our dynamic engineering team responsible for developing high-end Cloud based Security Solutions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the design and development of the appliance stack
  • Develop understanding of product functionality, use cases, and architecture through interaction with team members, code review, and written documentation
  • Study and comprehend relevant standards, RFCs, protocol specifications, network topologies, networking fundamentals, Linux platform fundamentals, virtualization, deep packet inspection, and other related technologies
  • Debug issues reported by internal QA teams or in production by customers and suggest solutions
  • Document design and test plans as part of development activities
  • Communicate effectively with other team members, including QA teams, and collaborate as required

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong background in Computer Science, Electronics, or Instrumentation
  • 3-6 years of software development or testing experience in Networking Systems
  • Proficiency in writing and comprehending written code in C/C++ and/or Python programs
  • Passion for building a career in embedded systems, networking, and Network Security Systems
  • Good academic record
  • Excellent reading and comprehension skills to read technical literature and make inferences
  • Ability to operate Linux and Windows Operating System commands and related applications
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Client Server Programming knowledge
