Building a robust and efficient platform is crucial for driving business success. As a Platform Reliability Engineer, you will play a vital role in designing and implementing scalable solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Job Overview

This position requires a hands-on approach to ensuring the stability and performance of our platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas of improvement and implement strategic solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain automation tools to streamline processes and reduce manual effort.
  • Collaborate with software engineering teams to ensure the security, availability, and performance of the platform.
  • Triage issues and manage infrastructure with peer teams to ensure proper coverage.

This is a hybrid position, requiring work from the office three set days a week, determined by leadership site. The platform has a 24/7/365 operation model, and work schedules may require shift or on-call support models, including weekends.

Requirements
  • Hands-on experience in Linux and Windows systems, good understanding of distributed computing environments, and intermediate-level programming/scripting in multiple languages.
  • Experience managing CI/CD tooling, such as Jenkins, GitHub, Bitbucket, ArgoCD, Artifactory, and Azure DevOps in a large-scale environment.
  • Advanced understanding of YAML, JSON, HTML, XML, and supporting relational/non-relational databases, including creating and running queries, managing performance, and scaling.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience working in a Platform/SRE or Production Engineering group, exposure to Virtualization/Hyper-V/VMware, and managing a distributed container platform.
